KEY DESIGN FEATURES
Silhouette: Hip-length jacket with straight cut and structured shoulders.
Front Closure: Separating zipper at center front.
Pockets: Two chest patch pockets with flaps and two angled welt pockets at the waist.
Collar: Classic pointed shirt collar with stand.
Sleeves: Long set-in sleeves finished with cuffs.
Waistband: Elasticated hem with stitched waistband detail for a secure fit.
Back: Simple with a yoke seam across shoulders.
LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY
Intermediate. Requires accuracy in sewing patch pockets with flaps, welt pockets, and inserting a separating zipper.

Before cutting your fabric, print and lay out the paper patterns according to fabric width (90–150 cm) to determine yardage. Be sure to include paired and symmetrical pieces. Matching checks or stripes is recommended when sewing with patterned fabrics.
