SEAM ALLOWANCES
No seam allowances by default. If an option to add them at 1 EUR is chosen, pattern will come with seam allowances included.
Please note: a single contour on the pattern pieces means no seam allowances are included. A double contour indicates seam allowances are included.
FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS FOR DIGITAL PATTERN 6005
Choose structured outerwear fabrics that hold form well:
- Wool or wool-blend coating (plain or plaid)
- Medium-weight melton
- Wool twill or textured suiting
- Brushed cotton or cotton-blend canvas
- Tonal lining fabric for inner structure
Avoid drapey or lightweight materials, which may distort the silhouette.
ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES
- Fusible Interfacing: 40 cm x 140 cm, to reinforce the upper collar and pocket facings
- Buttons: 4 medium-sized (25 mm) buttons for front closure
Optional: Underlining for added insulation in colder climates.

Back – 1 piece on fold
Front – 2 pieces
Yoke – 1 piece
Upper sleeve – 2 pieces
Lower sleeve – 2 pieces
Upper collar – 1 piece on fold
Under collar – 1 piece on fold
Pocket facing – 2 pieces
Pocket welt – 2 pieces
From Lining Fabric (optional):
Back lining – 1 piece on fold (add 1 cm ease at center)
Front lining – 2 pieces (excluding facings)
Sleeves – 2 pieces
Pocket bags – 2 pieces
From Fusible Interfacing:
Apply to upper collar and both pocket welt pieces.
Note: If working with plaid, align all seams carefully to match horizontal and vertical pattern lines.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Before cutting your fabric:
- Print and arrange the pattern pieces on your chosen fabric width (90–150 cm) to calculate yardage.
- Don’t forget to factor in mirrored and paired pieces.
- Always align notches carefully for clean construction.
- Shorten jacket lining by 2 cm at hem.
- For plaid fabrics, match the grain and checks at all seam lines.
