Plus Size High Ruffle Collar Pintuck Front Button Blouse

A sophisticated women's blouse pattern featuring a high stand collar with a pleated ruffle, a pintucked front inset, and a concealed button front closure.

When To Wear

The High Ruffle Collar Pintuck Front Button Blouse is a versatile garment perfect for:

  • Professional Settings: Its refined details make it suitable for office wear or business meetings.
  • Elegant Gatherings: Ideal for dinner parties, semi-formal events, or sophisticated social occasions.
  • Stylish Everyday Wear: Elevates a casual outfit when paired with trousers or skirts for a polished look.

Key Design Features

Silhouette: a fitted, hip-length blouse shaped by princess seams on the front and back.

Neckline & Collar: a high stand collar topped with a pleated ruffle (Stand Collar Placket), with a buttoned flap at the center front.

Front Details: a front yoke above a front inset with stitched pintucks directed towards the shoulder seams.

Closure: a concealed button placket down the center front, plus buttons on the collar flap.

Sleeves: long set-in sleeves gathered at the sleeve cap and at the cuff; the sleeve opening is finished with binding, and the cuffs have buttoned flaps.

Back: princess seams and a center back seam for a tailored fit.

Level Of Difficulty

Advanced. This pattern requires precise execution of pintucks, collar and cuff construction with flaps, a bound sleeve opening, and concealed placket assembly.

  • Blouse fabrics made from natural or blended fibers (e.g., cotton, viscose, polyester)

Additional Supplies
