Sewing Instructions
- Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the TRIM STRIPS, upper COLLAR, and outer COLLAR STAND.
- Place the upper COLLAR and lower COLLAR right sides together. Stitch the ends and the outer edge of the COLLAR. Trim the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Turn the COLLAR right side out, shape, and press. Place the COLLAR STAND pieces right sides together, insert the prepared COLLAR between them, align the NOTCHES, and stitch, simultaneously stitching the ends of the COLLAR STAND. Start and end the stitching precisely at the marked seam line for attaching the COLLAR STAND. Turn the prepared COLLAR right side out and press.
- Stitch the waist, bust, and shoulder darts on the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL pieces. Press the dart depths towards the center of the respective pieces. Trim the bust dart depth to 1 cm and serge.
- Stitch the center back seam of the BACK PANEL. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES to the left and serge.
- Serge the outer edges of the FRONT PANEL FLOUNCES and SLEEVE FLOUNCES with a narrow rolled hem.
- Place the TRIM STRIPS on the FRONT PANEL, right side to wrong side, and stitch the edge of the front opening. Turn the TRIM STRIPS to the right side, baste, and press. Turn the raw edge of the TRIM STRIP inwards, place the slightly gathered FLOUNCE underneath it, and topstitch onto the FRONT PANEL. Secure the FLOUNCE to the FRONT PANEL along the neckline and shoulder seam.
- Stitch the shoulder seams, press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL and serge.
- Attach the upper COLLAR STAND with the COLLAR to the neckline, turn under the raw edge of the lower COLLAR STAND, and topstitch into the seam of the upper COLLAR STAND attachment.
- Attach the FLOUNCES into the armholes. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the armhole, serge, and topstitch 0.1 cm from the seam.
- Stitch the side seams, press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL and serge.
- Serge the hem of the garment, press to the wrong side, and topstitch.
- On the right FRONT PANEL, make buttonholes; on the left, sew on buttons.
