CUTTER'S MUST

  • From main fabric:
    1. Center FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
    2. SIDE PANEL (front) – 2 QTY
    3. Center BACK PANEL – 1 QTY
    4. SIDE PANEL (back) – 2 QTY
    5. Front FACING – 1 QTY
    6. Back FACING – 1 QTY
  • From FUSIBLE INTERFACING:
    1. Front FACING – 1 QTY
    2. Back FACING – 1 QTY

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse interfacing to the FACINGS.
  2. Stitch the princess seams on the FRONT SKIRT HALF from the top down to the slit mark. On the side front panel, clip the SEAM ALLOWANCE near the slit mark. Overlock the section from the mark downwards. Overlock the princess seam allowance and press it towards the center panel. On the center panel, topstitch to the bottom 0.1 cm from the seam. On the side panel, stitch along the slit 0.1 cm from the edge.
  3. Stitch the princess seams on the BACK SKIRT HALF. Overlock the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press them towards the center.
  4. Overlock the left side seams of the back and front skirt halves separately. Stitch the left side seam from the ZIPPER NOTCH downwards. Press open the seam allowances and press the zipper opening. Insert the ZIPPER into the left side seam of the skirt. Stitch, press towards the back, and overlock the right side seam.
  5. Stitch the right side seam on the FACING pieces, press open the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Overlock the bottom edge of the FACINGS. Attach the FACING to the skirt. Clip the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Direct the SEAM ALLOWANCE towards the FACING and topstitch 0.3 cm from the seam. Secure the FACING with hand stitches at the level of the side and princess seams.
  6. Overlock the bottom edge of the skirt, press to the wrong side, and topstitch.
