CUTTER'S MUST
- From main fabric:
- 1. Upper FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
- 2. BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
- 3. SLEEVE – 2 QTY
- 4. Lower FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics should be sewn with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim SEAM ALLOWANCES to 0.6 – 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity.
Sewing Instructions
- Fold the upper FRONT PANELs right sides together and stitch the neckline. Turn to the right side, clipping into corners. Stitch with elastic thread.
- Stitch the center back seam of the BACK PANEL. Serge the seam and press to the left. Align the BACK PANEL and the upper FRONT PANEL at the armhole and stitch the shoulder seam. Serge the seam and press towards the BACK PANEL. Serge the BACK PANEL neckline, fold inwards, covering the shoulder seam area at the neckline, and topstitch.
- Along the upper edge of the lower FRONT PANEL, stitch with loosely tensioned stitches and gather. Attach the lower FRONT PANEL to the upper FRONT PANEL. Serge the seam and press.
- Set the SLEEVE into the open armhole, matching NOTCHES. Serge the seam and press.
- Stitch the side seam and the SLEEVE seam in one continuous step. Serge the seam and press towards the BACK PANEL.
- Serge the bottom edge of the garment and the bottom edge of the SLEEVE. Fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
