CUTTER'S MUST
- From main fabric:
- BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
- FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY on fold
- FRONT PANEL Placket – 4 QTY
- SLEEVE – 2 QTY
- From FUSIBLE INTERFACING:

Tip: Knit fabric pieces are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim SEAM ALLOWANCES to 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity. Alternatively, pieces can be sewn directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlock machine.
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse the FRONT PANEL plackets with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
- Serge the upper edge of the FRONT PANEL, press to the wrong side, and topstitch. Form and secure the pleats according to the markings.
- Fold the FRONT PANEL plackets with wrong sides together, insert the FRONT PANEL piece between them, and stitch. Turn the plackets to the right side and press. Then, treat the plackets as single-layer pieces.
- Stitch the center back seam of the BACK PANEL. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES to the left side and serge.
- Stitch the shoulder seams. Note: The shoulder edge of the BACK PANEL is 1.5 cm longer than the shoulder edge of the FRONT PANEL (allowance for BACK PANEL neckline finishing). Press the seam towards the BACK PANEL.
- Stitch the side seams. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL and serge.
- Stitch the SLEEVE seams. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES and serge.
- Set the SLEEVES into the armholes, aligning the NOTCHES. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES and serge.
- Serge the bottom edge of the garment, the bottom edge of the SLEEVE, and the BACK PANEL neckline edge. Fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
