Sewing Instructions
- On the front and back, lay and press the darts. The dart depths on the front are directed towards the shoulder seam, on the back - towards the center. Stitch the darts. Topstitch the darts from the neckline for 2.5 cm at 0.1 from the seam. Secure the darts at the neckline edge.
- Stitch the shoulder seams. Press the seams towards the back and overlock.
- Set the sleeves into the open armhole. Overlock the seams and press towards the sleeve. Topstitch along the sleeve cap at 0.5 cm from the seam. Stitch the sleeve seam and the side seam. Overlock the seam allowances and press towards the back.
- Fold the cuffs right sides together and stitch the short edges. Turn out, straighten, fold lengthwise in half, and press the cuffs. Attach the outer edge of the cuff to the lower edge of the sleeve. Fold under the inner edge of the cuff by 1 cm and topstitch into the seam of attaching the outer edge. Topstitch along the seam and the fold of the cuff.
- Stitch the side edges of the front and back plackets. Press the seams open. Fold the plackets right sides together and face along the bottom and the front opening edge. Turn out, straighten, and press the plackets. Attach the outer plackets to the lower edges of the front and back. Fold under the open edge of the inner placket by 1 cm and topstitch into the seam of attaching the outer placket. Topstitch along the seam and the edge of the placket.
- Fold the front opening plackets right sides together and face along the neckline edge and the two short edges. Turn out, straighten, and press the plackets. Attach the upper plackets to the neckline edge and the front opening. Fold under the upper edge of the lower placket by 1 cm and topstitch into the seam of attaching the upper placket. Topstitch along the contour of the placket.
- On the right front, overlock the buttonholes, on the left front, sew on the buttons.
