Sewing Instructions

  1. Mark and stitch darts on front and back pieces. Press bust darts downwards, waist darts towards the center.
  2. Stitch shoulder seams. Overlock seams and press towards the back.
  3. Overlock armhole edges, fold inwards and topstitch.
  4. Cut a bias binding 4 cm wide and equal to the neckline length. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the trim strip with the neckline edge on the right side and face, fold the trim strip to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold to the main piece. Press the seam.
  5. Stitch the upper and middle parts of the front and back. Stitch side seams. Overlock seams and press towards the back. Overlock the seam joining the upper and middle parts, simultaneously overlocking the armhole section from the side seam. Press the seam downwards and topstitch at 0.1 cm.
  6. Overlock the center edges of the back. Insert the zipper from the upper edge to the mark. Stitch the center edges from the zipper downwards. Press seam allowances open.
  7. Stitch the side seam on the lower parts of the dress. Overlock the seam and press towards the back. Attach the lower front and back to the dress. Overlock seams and press downwards.
