CUTTER'S MUST
- From main fabric:
- BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
- Upper FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
- Lower FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
- SLEEVE – 2 QTY
Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim SEAM ALLOWANCES to 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity. You can also stitch pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlock machine.
Sewing Instructions
- Along the upper edge of the lower FRONT PANEL on the left side, create arbitrary pleats. Secure the pleats 0.5 cm from the edge.
- Stitch the upper and lower FRONT PANELs. Serge the seam and press it upwards.
- Stitch the center back edge of the BACK PANEL. Serge the seam and press it open.
- Stitch the shoulder edges of the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL. Serge the seams and press them towards the BACK PANEL. Serge the neckline edge, press it to the wrong side, and topstitch.
- Set the SLEEVES into the open armholes, aligning the NOTCHES. Serge the seams and press them.
- Stitch the side edges, simultaneously stitching the SLEEVE edges. Serge the seams and press them towards the BACK PANEL.
- Serge the bottom edge of the garment and the bottom edge of the SLEEVE. Fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
