- 1. Upper front – 2 qty
- 2. Front yoke – 1 qty
- 3. Lower front – 1 qty
- 4. Back – 2 qty
- 5. Back yoke – 2 qty
- 6. Lower center back – 2 qty
- 7. Lower side back – 2 qty
- 8. Front sleeve – 2 qty
- 9. Back sleeve – 2 qty
Sewing Instructions
- Mark and stitch darts on the lower front. Press darts towards the center of the front. Mark and stitch darts on the back. Press darts towards the center of the back. Place the yoke and back right sides together and stitch the edges. Overlock the seam and press towards the yoke.
- Stitch the lower center and side back PANELs. Press the seam towards the center of the back and overlock. Attach the lower back to the back yoke. Overlock the seam and press towards the yoke. Overlock the center edges of the back. Stitch the center seam up to the notch for the zipper. Press the seam open, pressing the zipper opening. Insert the zipper.
- Insert the back sleeve into the armhole of the back. Overlock the seam and press towards the sleeve. Stitch the upper edge of the sleeve. Overlock and press towards the back. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the trim strip with the neckline edge right sides together and face, fold the trim strip to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold to the main piece. Press the seam.
- Along the lower edge of the upper front, mark and create pleats. Direct the pleat depths towards the center of the front. Place the upper front pieces right sides together and face along the upper edge.
- Insert the front sleeve into the armhole of the front, inserting the sleeve between the upper front pieces. Turn right side out and press.
- Place the front yoke with the upper front right sides together and attach. Overlock the seam and press towards the yoke.
- Attach the lower front to the front yoke. Overlock the seam and press towards the yoke.
- Stitch the side edges simultaneously with the lower sleeve edge. Overlock the seams and press towards the back.
- Press the hem allowance of the dress and the sleeve hem allowance to the wrong side, fold inwards another 1 cm and topstitch.
- Create pleats on the upper front and secure them with a brooch.
