CUTTER'S MUST
- From main fabric:
- 1. BACK PANEL, center – 1 QTY
- 2. BACK PANEL, side – 2 QTY
- 3. FRONT PANEL, side - 2 QTY
- 4. FRONT PANEL, center - 2 QTY
- 5. SLEEVE - 2 QTY
Sewing Instructions
- Place the lace on the FRONT PANEL along the marked line and topstitch its inner edge from the right side with a small zigzag stitch. Carefully trim excess fabric from the wrong side close to the stitching.
- Cut a BIAS BINDING 4 cm wide and equal to the length of the BACK PANEL neckline. Press the BIAS BINDING in half lengthwise, right side out. Place the BIAS BINDING right sides together with the BACK PANEL neckline SEAM ALLOWANCE and FACING. Fold the BIAS BINDING to the wrong side. Topstitch the SEAM ALLOWANCE to the BIAS BINDING with a 0.1 cm wide seam. Topstitch the BACK PANEL neckline with a 0.7 cm seam.
- Stitch the princess seams of the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the center and serge.
- Stitch the side and shoulder seams, press the SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL and serge.
- Place the lace on the SLEEVE along the marked line and topstitch its inner edge from the right side with a small zigzag stitch. Carefully trim excess fabric under the lace close to the stitching. Create a beautiful pleat with the lace on the curve and secure it.
- Stitch and serge the SLEEVE edge.
- Set the SLEEVES into the armholes. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Serge the hem allowance of the garment and SLEEVE, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Cut two ties from the main fabric, 3 cm wide and approximately 25 cm long. Fold them in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch along the long side 0.5 cm from the edge. Turn the ties right side out, straighten, and sew to the edge.
