- BACK PANEL – 1 QTY
- Lower FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
- From guipure:
- Upper FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
Sewing Instructions
- Mark and stitch darts on the guipure piece. Overlock, simultaneously trimming dart depths.
- Stitch the upper FRONT PANELs together, press SEAM ALLOWANCES open and overlock.
- Overlock the neckline edge and the outer edge of the upper FRONT PANEL, press to the wrong side and topstitch. To prevent stretching of the upper FRONT PANEL, topstitch elastic TRIM STRIP with a zigzag stitch along the neckline and outer edge on the wrong side, stretching it slightly. The TRIM STRIP should be 10% shorter than the piece.
- Overlock the front edge of the lower FRONT PANEL, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Attach the upper FRONT PANEL to the lower FRONT PANEL. Stitch the side edges, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL and overlock. Overlock the SEAM ALLOWANCE for attaching the upper FRONT PANEL to the lower, including the remaining upper edge of the lower FRONT PANEL and the upper edge of the BACK PANEL.
- Press the upper edge SEAM ALLOWANCE to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Overlock the lower edge of the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Cut the decorative cord into 4 pieces and sew to the front edge of the FRONT PANEL.
