Sewing Instructions
- Fuse fusible interfacing to the central FRONT PANELS, FACINGS, and CUFFS.
- Place the central FRONT PANELS right sides together, insert the ZIPPER between them, and stitch along the top, center, and bottom seams, simultaneously inserting the ZIPPER. Turn the pieces right side out and press. Topstitch the pieces along the seams at 0.7 cm. Stitch the princess seams on the FRONT PANEL. Overlock the seams and press towards the side seam.
- Stitch the darts on the BACK PANEL. Press the darts towards the center seam. Stitch the center seam of the BACK PANEL. Press the seam to the left side and overlock.
- Stitch the shoulder and side seams. Overlock the seams and press towards the BACK PANEL.
- Stitch the FACING pieces together. Overlock and press the seams. Overlock the outer edge of the FACINGS. Place the FACINGS and main fabric pieces right sides together and stitch the edge of the one-piece stand-up collar and the neckline of the FRONT PANEL, catching the section of the princess seam of the FRONT PANEL. Turn the FACING to the wrong side and topstitch at 0.7 cm.
- Stitch, overlock, and press open the SLEEVE edges up to the NOTCHES. Set in the SLEEVES, easing at the cap.
- Fold the CUFFS in half and stitch the short sides and the section up to the NOTCHES. Clip the SEAM ALLOWANCE near the NOTCHES. Turn the CUFFS right side out and press. Attach the outer side of the CUFF to the SLEEVE. Turn under the inner side of the CUFF and topstitch into the attaching seam.
- Overlock the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side, and topstitch.
- On the CUFFS, make buttonholes and sew on buttons.
