Cutter's Must
- From main fabric:
- Back – 2 pieces
- Front – 1 piece
- Front Yoke – 1 piece
- Back Yoke – 2 pieces
- Sleeve – 2 pieces
Sewing Instructions
- Stitch the waist darts on the Back and Front. Press the darts towards the center of each piece.
- Stitch the shoulder darts on the Back Yoke. Press the darts towards the center back seam.
- On the Front Yoke, fold the small pleats along the marked lines at the neckline and baste them in place 0.5 cm from the neckline edge.
- Stitch the shoulder seams of the Back Yoke and Front Yoke. Overlock the seam and press it towards the back.
- Stitch the Sleeves to the Back and Front along the armhole line. Overlock the seams and press them towards the sleeve. Sew a line of loose gathering stitches along the upper edge of each sleeve and gather it.
- Stitch the yokes to the Back, Front and Sleeves. Overlock the seam and press it upwards.
- Mark the elastic placement line on the Sleeves. Place each sleeve wrong side up, stretch the hat elastic and stitch it on with a zigzag stitch, leaving 1 cm free at the ends.
- Stitch the sleeve seam and the side seam in one continuous seam. Overlock the seams and press them towards the back.
- Stitch the center back seam from the opening mark downwards. Press the seam open and overlock.
- Bind the neckline with bias binding, forming a button loop at the back opening. Sew the button to the other side of the opening.
- Finish the sleeve edges with a rolled hem. Overlock the hem of the blouse, fold it up and topstitch.
