Introducing a women's coat pattern featuring a modern, relaxed silhouette with distinctive construction details including exposed dart seams and an unfinished hem, ideal for non-fraying fabrics.

When To Wear

This stylish coat is designed for versatile wear, perfect for:

  • Transitional Weather: As a chic and comfortable outer layer for spring and autumn.
  • Casual & Everyday: Elevating daily outfits with a contemporary design and relaxed fit.
  • Modern Layering: Adding a unique textured piece over tailored or casual ensembles.

Key Design Features

Silhouette: a relaxed a-line shape, falling to about knee length for a contemporary line.

Neckline: a high funnel collar cut in one with the front and back (no separate collar piece), shaped by radiating darts; its raw edge is left unfinished.

Closure: a separating zipper at the center front, with its tape edge elegantly finished with bias binding.

Sleeves: Wide three-quarter sleeves with deep turned-back cuffs; the armhole seams are exposed on the outside.

Darts: Distinctive exposed darts at the neckline and vertical waist darts on the front and back add shaping and a unique design element.

Pockets: This design features no pockets.

Hem: The garment features an intentionally unfinished hem, complementing the fabric choice.

Level Of Difficulty
