Asymmetrical Two-Tone Shawl Collar Jacket

Introducing a sophisticated women's jacket pattern featuring a distinctive two-tone design, an oversized shawl collar, and a gracefully asymmetrical front closure.

When To Wear

This stylish jacket offers a unique blend of elegance and modern flair, making it perfect for:

  • Chic Everyday Wear: Elevates a smart casual ensemble for daily outings or informal meetings.
  • Evening & Social Gatherings: A distinctive outer layer for dinners, parties, or cultural events.
  • Seasonal Transitions: Provides warmth and style during cooler autumn and spring days.

Key Design Features

Silhouette: A tailored, hip-length jacket designed to flatter the figure with a defined waist.

Neckline & Collar: Features a generously proportioned, rounded shawl collar that drapes elegantly over the shoulders.

Front Design: A distinctive paneled front creates a dynamic two-tone aesthetic, with an asymmetrical overlap.

Closure: Secured by a single button at the wearer's left waist, enhancing the asymmetrical design.

Sleeves: Long, set-in sleeves finished with wide, turn-back cuffs for a refined touch.

Back: A clean, fitted back panel featuring vertical seams that provide shaping for a sleek profile.

Hem: The front hem is artfully shaped, curving gently to a slightly pointed finish below the natural waist.

Level Of Difficulty

Advanced. This pattern requires experience with complex paneling, working with contrasting fabric types, constructing an oversized shawl collar, and precise application of trim details.

Additional Supplies

  • Leather trim or faux leather tape for finishing details

  3. Stitch the center back seam. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES open.
