CUTTER'S MUST

  • From faux fur:
  • 1. Upper BACK PANEL - 2 QTY
  • 2. Lower BACK PANEL - 1 QTY
  • 3. FRONT PANEL Yoke - 2 QTY
  • 4. Middle FRONT PANEL - 2 QTY
  • 5. Lower FRONT PANEL - 2 QTY
  • 6. Upper SLEEVE – 2 QTY
  • 7. Lower SLEEVE – 2 QTY
  • 8. Back COLLAR - 1 QTY
  • 9. Front COLLAR - 1 QTY

Sewing Instructions

  1. Stitch the center back seam of the BACK PANEL. Attach the lower BACK PANEL to the upper BACK PANEL.
  2. Attach the FRONT PANEL yoke to the middle FRONT PANEL. Attach the lower FRONT PANEL to the middle FRONT PANEL.
  3. Stitch the shoulder seams.
  4. Stitch the COLLAR shoulder seams. Insert the COLLAR into the neckline.
  5. Separate the ZIPPER, turn under the upper ends of the tapes. Place the ZIPPER right side down onto the right side of the FRONT PANEL and COLLAR, aligning the teeth with the marked seam line (the ZIPPER tape lies on the SEAM ALLOWANCE), and baste. Fold the short edges of the leather TRIM STRIP to the wrong side, place it right side down onto the right side of the FRONT PANEL, pin, and stitch, catching the ZIPPER. Fold the TRIM STRIP to the wrong side, turn under the open longitudinal edge, and topstitch 0.7 cm from the edge of the opening and along the edge of the TRIM STRIP.
  6. Stitch the side seams.
  7. Stitch the upper and lower SLEEVE sections. Stitch the SLEEVE seam up to the mark. Turn under the SEAM ALLOWANCES along the edges of the slits to the wrong side, place the ZIPPER underneath, turn under the ends of the tapes, and topstitch. Set the SLEEVES into the armholes according to the markings.
