Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse the faux leather pieces with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
  2. Fold the strap pieces right sides together and stitch along 3 sides. Trim SEAM ALLOWANCES close to the seam. Turn the straps right side out, press, and topstitch along the seam line at 0.1 cm.
  3. Press the right placket along the fold line. Fold the right placket pieces (outer and inner) right sides together, insert the ZIPPER between them so that the teeth are directed away from the edge. Stitch the plackets together, simultaneously stitching in the right edge of the ZIPPER. Fold back the inner placket, aligning the longitudinal edges and thus forming an applied placket. Topstitch the SEAM ALLOWANCES to the inner placket. Fold the left placket pieces right sides together, insert the left edge of the ZIPPER and stitch the plackets together. Stitch the plackets along the upper and lower edges. Turn the pieces right side out and topstitch along 3 sides at 0.1 cm and 0.7 cm.
  4. Thread the end of each strap through a carabiner clasp for a length of 3 cm and topstitch. Similarly, finish the straps with rings. Pin the straps with carabiners to the right placket, and the straps with rings to the left placket. Fasten the ZIPPER, attach the carabiners to the rings, and finally adjust the length of all straps. Stitch the raw edges of the straps to the raw edges of the plackets. Unzip the ZIPPER and continue to treat the plackets as 2 pieces.
  5. Stitch the bust dart on the FRONT PANEL pieces.
  6. Stitch the front SLEEVE to the FRONT PANEL. Stitch the back SLEEVE to the BACK PANEL.
  7. Stitch the shoulder seams together with the upper SLEEVE seams.
  8. Stitch the lower SLEEVE edge and the side edge with one seam.
  9. Press the CUFF in half lengthwise, right side out. Unfold the CUFF, fold right sides together, and stitch it into a loop. Turn the CUFF right side out, press the seam open. Stitch the CUFF to the lower SLEEVE edge.
  10. Fold the belt loop in 3 layers and stitch. Cut the belt loop into 2 pieces.
  11. Stitch the lower FRONT PANEL plackets to the lower BACK PANEL placket. Press the seams open. Sew the lower edge of the belt loops to the side seams of the outer plackets according to the markings. Attach the upper end of the belt loops to the upper edge of the plackets.
  12. Along the lower edge of the jacket, sew a row of stitches with loosely tightened stitches and gather a small amount. Stitch the outer parts of the plackets to the lower edge of the jacket.
  13. Stitch the LINING pieces similarly to the main fabric pieces, leaving an opening in the lower seam of the left SLEEVE for turning. Stitch the LINING to the inner pieces of the lower placket.
  14. Stitch the upper COLLAR to the jacket neckline. Stitch the lower COLLAR to the LINING neckline. Press the seams open.
  15. Fold the LINING and jacket right sides together, insert the front plackets between them and stitch the front edge, COLLAR, and lower edge. Finish the bottom of the SLEEVE with the LINING. Turn the jacket right side out through the opening in the SLEEVE. Stitch the opening in the SLEEVE.
  16. Along the seam attaching the lower plackets to the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL and along the hemline, sew a topstitch.
  17. Fold the belt in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch along three sides, leaving an opening of 7-10 cm in the middle of the long side of the belt. Turn the belt right side out and press. Along the contour, sew a topstitch at a distance of 0.5 cm, simultaneously closing the opening. Thread the buckle.
