Sewing Instructions

  1. Reinforce skirt FACINGS with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
  2. Assemble the FRONT SKIRT HALF: stitch FRONT PANEL 1 of the skirt to FRONT PANEL 2. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCE towards Part 1 and serge.
  3. Stitch FRONT PANEL 2 and 3. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCE towards Part 2 and serge.
  4. Stitch FRONT PANEL 4 of the skirt to FRONT PANEL 3. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCE towards Part 3 and serge.
  5. Assembly of the BACK SKIRT HALF is similar to the assembly of the FRONT SKIRT HALF.
  6. Serge the left side edge. Stitch the left side edge from the fastener NOTCH downwards. Press the seam open, pressing the SEAM ALLOWANCE for the fastener. Place the ZIPPER under the SEAM ALLOWANCES and stitch so that the teeth are not visible.
  7. Stitch and serge the right side seam of the skirt. Press the seam towards the BACK PANEL.
  8. Stitch and press open the side edge of the FACINGS. Serge the bottom edge. Place FACINGS with the top edge of the skirt right sides together and stitch. Topstitch the stitching seam onto the FACINGS at a distance of 0.2 cm from the stitching seam. Fold the FACINGS to the wrong side and press.
  9. Press the hem allowance of the skirt to the wrong side, fold, and topstitch.
