Tip: Sew knit pieces with a stretch stitch or a narrow zigzag. When overlocking, trim the seam allowances to 0.6–0.8 cm. Topstitch the hem allowances with a twin needle to keep them stretchy.

Sewing Instructions

Stitch the front raglan edges of the sleeves to the front. Overlock the seams and press.
Stitch the back raglan edges of the sleeves to the back. Overlock the seams and press.
Stitch the sleeve seam and side seam in one continuous seam on each side. Overlock the seams and press.
Overlock the bottom edge of the garment, the bottom edges of the sleeves, and the neckline edge. Fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
Overlock the placket all around. Turn under the upper edge of the placket and topstitch. Mark the placket position on the wrong side of the front. Stitch the placket to the front along its edges. Stitch along the center line of the placket, stopping 1.5 cm short of the lower placket seam. Thread the drawstring through the opening and pull it to gather the front.
