Cutting Plan

  • From main fabric:
  • 1. Back – 1 piece
  • 2. Front – 1 piece
  • 3. Sleeve – 2 pieces
  • 4. Neckband – 1 piece

Tip: Cut pieces from knitted fabrics are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim seam allowances to 0.6 – 0.8 cm. Hem allowance is stitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Attach the sleeve to the front. Serge the seam and press.
  2. Attach the sleeve to the back. Serge the seam and press.
  3. Stitch the sleeve seam and side seam in one continuous seam. Serge the seams and press.
  4. Serge the bottom edge of the garment and the bottom edge of the sleeves. Fold to the wrong side, press, and stitch down.
  5. Stitch the neckband into a loop. Turn the neckband right side out and press. Fold the neckband in half, wrong sides together. Attach the neckband to the neckline, slightly stretching the neckband and aligning notches. The neckband seam is located at the top of the left sleeve. Serge the neckband attachment seam and press.
