Cutting Plan
- From main fabric:
- 1. Back – 1 piece
- 2. Front – 1 piece
- 3. Sleeve – 1 piece
Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim seam allowances to 0.6 – 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity.
Sewing Instructions
- Stitch shoulder and side seams of back and front. Serge seams and press towards the back.
- Stitch sleeve seam. Serge seam and press.
- Set in sleeve into armhole, matching notches. Serge seam and press.
- Serge bottom edge of garment, bottom edge of sleeve, and neckline edge. Fold to wrong side, press and topstitch.
