Fabric & Materials

Main fabric: Knit fabric.

Cutting Plan

  • 1. Back – 1 piece
  • 2. Front – 1 piece
  • 3. Collar – 1 piece

Sewing Instructions

ATTENTION! Before you begin, check that your head fits through the collar once it's stitched into a loop.

Tip: When sewing knit fabrics, use a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch.

When serging, trim seam allowances to 0.6 – 0.8 cm.

Topstitch the hem allowance with a twin needle to maintain elasticity.

  1. Stitch the shoulder and side seams of the back and front. Serge the seams and press them towards the back.
  2. Serge the bottom edge of the garment and the armhole edge. Fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
  3. Stitch the collar into a loop. Turn the collar right side out and press. Fold the collar in half, wrong sides together. Attach the collar to the neckline, aligning the notches. The collar seam should be positioned at the left shoulder seam. Serge and press the collar attachment seam.
