- Back – 1 piece
- Front – 1 piece
- Sleeve – 2 pieces
Tip: Pieces cut from knit fabrics are sewn with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim seam allowances to 0.6 – 0.8 cm. Hem allowances are topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity.
Sewing Instructions
- Finish the neckline edges.
- Stitch shoulder seams up to the notch. Press seams open.
- Stitch side seams of the back and front. Finish seams and press towards the back.
- Stitch sleeve seams. Finish seams and press.
- Set sleeves into armholes, matching notches. Finish seams and press.
- Finish the bottom edge of the garment and sleeve hems. Fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
