Cutting Plan
- Back – 2 pieces
- Front yoke – 1 piece
- Upper front – 2 pieces
- Lower front – 1 piece
- Front sleeve – 2 pieces
- Back sleeve – 2 pieces
Sewing Instructions
- Mark and stitch waist darts on the back. Press darts towards the center back.
- Serge the center back raw edge. Stitch the center back seam up to the zipper notch. Press the center back seam open, press the zipper openings. Insert the zipper.
- Stitch with loose stitches 0.5 cm from the edge along the lower edge of the upper front. Gather between the notches.
- Stitch the shoulder edges. Serge and press the shoulder seams towards the back.
- Press the bias binding in half lengthwise and bind the armhole and neckline edges.
- Turn under the ends of the bias binding at the back and secure by hand.
- Attach the upper front to the yoke. Serge the seam and press towards the yoke. Process the parts alternately: first the left, then the right. Place a bar tack at the upper corner of the yoke.
- Attach the lower to the front. Serge the seam and press towards the yoke.
- Clip the seam allowance on the sleeve parts at the notches. Finish the raw edges with a 0.5 cm narrow hem. Stitch the section of the sleeve shoulder seam from the sleeve cap to the notch. Serge the seam and press towards the back sleeve.
- Clip the seam allowance on the back and front at the armhole notch. Insert the sleeves into the open armhole. Serge the seam and press.
- Stitch the side seam. Serge the seam and press towards the back. Serge the raw armhole edge, leaving a 0.5 cm seam allowance. Fold and topstitch the seam. Press the armhole.
- Serge the lower edge of the top, fold and topstitch 1.5 cm from the edge.
