Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the FACING, back neckline FACING, upper COLLAR, and FRONT PANEL central part.
  2. Stitch the FRONT PANEL central part to the FRONT PANEL side part. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES open.
  3. Stitch the yoke to the FRONT PANEL. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES open.
  4. Place COLLAR pieces right sides together and stitch. Trim and press the COLLAR.
  5. Stitch and press open the princess seams on the BACK PANEL. Stitch and press open the center back seam.
  6. Place FRONT PANELS right sides together and align the edges, measuring the length of the front openings. Stitch the ZIPPER to the edge of the front opening. Fold the edges of the front opening at the ZIPPER section and press.
  7. Place the FACING on the right side of the FRONT PANEL, right side down, pin and stitch along the front opening. Stitching is done from the FRONT PANEL side. Stitch the lower edges of the FACINGS to the FRONT PANEL precisely along the marked hemline. Trim the SEAM ALLOWANCES of the lower front opening corners. Turn the front openings right side out, smooth the seams. Topstitch along the front opening at a distance of 0.5 cm.
  8. Stitch and press open the side and shoulder seams of the jacket.
  9. Stitch and press open the shoulder edges of the back neckline FACING and the FACING. Insert the lower COLLAR into the jacket neckline, and the upper COLLAR into the neckline edge of the back FACING and the FACING.
  10. Stitch and press open the elbow seam of the SLEEVE. Stitch and press open the front seam of the SLEEVE. Press the SLEEVE hem.
  11. Set the SLEEVES into the armholes, matching NOTCHES. Insert shoulder pads and sleeve heads.
  12. On the LINING fabric pieces, stitch the seams and set the SLEEVES, leaving an opening in the front right SLEEVE seam.
  13. Stitch the LINING to the inner edges of the FACINGS and the back neckline FACING. Press open the COLLAR insertion SEAM ALLOWANCES and secure close to the seams.
  14. Stitch the LINING to the bottom of the jacket and SLEEVES. Turn the jacket right side out through the opening in the SLEEVE. Stitch the opening in the SLEEVE closed.
