Sewing Instructions

1. Place the outer dress layer pieces right sides together. Stitch the princess seams of the outer dress layer on the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL. Overlock the princess seams and press them towards the center on the FRONT PANEL, and towards the center on the BACK PANEL.
2. Stitch, overlock, and press the side seams of the outer dress layer towards the BACK PANEL.
3. Place the inner dress pieces right sides together. Stitch the princess seams of the inner dress layer on the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL. Overlock the princess seams and press them towards the center on the FRONT PANEL, and towards the center on the BACK PANEL.
4. Stitch, overlock, and press the side seams of the inner dress towards the BACK PANEL.
5. Overlock the bottom edge of the outer dress layer, fold to the wrong side, press and topstitch. Overlock the bottom edge of the inner dress layer, fold to the wrong side, press and topstitch at a distance of 1.5 cm.
6. Overlock the center seam of the outer and inner dress layers, stitch up to the NOTCHES for the ZIPPER. Press open the center seam of the outer and inner dress, press the openings for the ZIPPER. Insert the ZIPPER into the center seam of the outer dress layer.
7. Cut the straps. Fold the straps lengthwise right sides together and stitch 0.5 cm from the fold. Turn the straps right side out and press. Attach the straps to the neckline edge of the FRONT PANEL.
8. Place the outer dress layer (right side) with the inner dress layer (wrong side) and FACING the neckline edge of the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL. Topstitch the FACING allowance to the inner dress layer at a distance of 0.2 cm from the stitching line.
9. Put on the dress, adjust the length of the straps, and sew the back ends to the BACK PANEL. Align the center seam of the outer and inner dress layers and secure at the ZIPPER area.
