Cutter's Must

  • From main fabric:
    1. Skirt – 4 qty
    2. Facing – 4 qty
  • From fusible interfacing: facings.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse fusible interfacing to: facings.
  2. Overlock the raw edges of the zipper opening on the left side. Stitch the side edges of the panels, leaving the zipper opening unstitched. Overlock and press the seams open.
  3. Stitch the side edges of the facings and press the seams open. Overlock the outer edge of the facings.
  4. Insert the zipper. Attach the facing to the upper edge of the skirt. Finish the upper edge of the facing with the lower facing. Topstitch the facing allowance onto the facing at a distance of 0.2 cm from the stitching seam, stopping 3 cm from the end. Fold the side edges of the lower facing and attach them to the side seam allowances. Topstitch the lower overlocked edge of the facing into the seam of the upper facing.
  5. Overlock the lower edge of the skirt, press and topstitch to the garment.
