CUTTER'S MUST

  • From main fabric:
  • 1. FRONT PANEL SIDE PANEL - 2 QTY
  • 2. FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
  • 3. Triangular wedge - 2 QTY
  • 4. BACK PANEL - 2 QTY
  • 5. Placket - 4 QTY

Sewing Instructions

  1. Reinforce the placket with fusible interfacing.
  2. Fold the placket pieces and stitch the outer edge of the placket. Topstitch the seam allowance to the lower placket at a distance of 0.2 cm from the seam. Overlock the outer edge of the lower placket.
  3. Attach the placket to the FRONT PANEL. Topstitch the overlocked edge of the placket into the placket attachment seam. Press the placket when finished.
  4. Attach the triangular wedge to the FRONT PANEL. Overlock the attachment seam and press it towards the FRONT PANEL.
  5. Overlock the bottom edge of the FRONT PANEL SIDE PANEL. Press the seam allowance and topstitch at a distance of 0.5 cm from the bottom edge.
  6. Join the FRONT PANEL and its SIDE PANEL along the side seam and along the neckline edge of the FRONT PANEL.
  7. Overlock the center back edge of the BACK PANEL. Stitch and press open the center back seam of the BACK PANEL. Stitch and overlock the side seams of the sundress. Press the side seams towards the BACK PANEL.
  8. Fold the BIAS BINDING in half, press, and finish the neckline edges of the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL, and the armhole edges of the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL.
  9. Stitch the shoulder seams and press them towards the BACK PANEL. Overlock, fold, and topstitch the hem of the garment. Mark and attach snaps to the placket.
