  • 2. FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
  • 3. SLEEVE – 2 QTY

Sewing Instructions

  1. Mark NOTCHES for buttonholes. Cut buttonholes from decorative TRIM STRIP and stitch to the FRONT PANEL neckline SEAM ALLOWANCE.
  2. Overlock the center edge of the FRONT PANEL and neckline. Turn the overlocked FRONT PANEL neckline SEAM ALLOWANCES to the wrong side and press. Topstitch the FRONT PANEL neckline SEAM ALLOWANCES 1cm from the neckline edge. Cut elastic TRIM STRIP. Thread the elastic TRIM STRIP through the FRONT PANEL neckline SEAM ALLOWANCES. Stitch the center edge of the FRONT PANEL, securing the TRIM STRIP. Press open the center edge of the FRONT PANEL and topstitch 1cm from the stitching line. Thread the elastic TRIM STRIP through the center seam SEAM ALLOWANCES of the FRONT PANEL and gather to the desired length. Secure the TRIM STRIP to the blouse.
  3. Overlock the BACK PANEL neckline edge and topstitch to the BACK PANEL. Gather the FRONT PANEL neckline with the TRIM STRIP and secure at the shoulder edges. Stitch and overlock the shoulder and side seams, inserting the TRIM STRIP into the shoulder seams. Press the side and shoulder seams towards the BACK PANEL.
  4. Stitch and overlock the SLEEVE seam.
  5. Set in the SLEEVES, easing at the cap.
  6. Overlock, hem, and topstitch the bottom of the garment and SLEEVES.
  7. Thread the cord through the buttonholes and tie.
