  • Placket – 2 qty
  • Sleeve - 2 qty
  • Cuff – 2 qty
  • From fusible interfacing: placket, upper collar, cuff, collar stand.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse fusible interfacing to the placket, upper collar, cuff, and collar stand.
  2. Mark darts on the front and back. Stitch darts on the front and back. Press back darts towards the center back, and front darts towards the center front.
  3. Attach the yoke to the front. Overlock the attaching seam and press it towards the yoke. Topstitch 0.5 cm from the attaching seam.
  4. Stitch the center back seam. Overlock the center back seam and press it towards the right back.
  5. Attach the yoke to the back. Overlock the attaching seam and press it towards the yoke.
  6. Press the outer edge of the placket by 1 cm. Place the placket and blouse right sides together and face the front with the placket. Turn the placket to the wrong side of the front and press. Topstitch the pressed edge of the placket onto the front.
  7. Stitch the shoulder seams of the blouse. Overlock the seams and press them towards the back.
  8. Face the lower collar with the upper collar, trim the corners, and turn the collar right side out.
  9. Stitch the collar stands, inserting the collar between them.
  10. Attach the lower collar stand with the collar to the neckline, turn under the raw edge of the upper collar stand, and topstitch into the seam of the lower collar stand attachment. Topstitch along the collar.
  11. Stitch the sleeve seams.
  12. Fold the cuffs in half crosswise, right sides together, and stitch the short sides up to the notches. Clip the seam allowances at the slit. Fold the cuffs in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch the edges of the slit.
  13. Attach the cuffs to the bottom of the sleeve and overlock the upper edge of the cuff together with the sleeve.
  14. Topstitch the cuff attachment seam onto the sleeve, topstitch along the bottom of the cuff and the edge of the slits.
  15. Set in the sleeves, easing the cap.
  16. On the right front, overlock buttonholes, and on the left, sew on buttons.
  17. Overlock, hem, and topstitch the bottom of the garment.
