Asymmetrical Flounce Skirt With Diagonal Trim

• From main fabric:
• 1. Left BACK PANEL – 1 QTY
• 2. Right BACK PANEL – 1 QTY
• 3. FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
• 4. FRONT SKIRT HALF FACING – 1 QTY
• 5. BACK SKIRT HALF FACING – 2 QTY
• 6. FLOUNCE – 1 QTY
• 7. Small FLOUNCE – 1 QTY
• FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: FRONT and BACK PANEL FACINGS.

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to: FRONT and BACK PANEL FACINGS.
2. Mark and stitch darts on the FRONT and BACK PANELS. Press darts on the BACK PANELS towards the center back, and darts on the FRONT PANEL towards the center front.
3. Serge the center seam allowance of the BACK PANELS. Stitch the center seam of the BACK PANELS up to the zipper NOTCH. Press open the center seam of the BACK PANELS, pressing the zipper opening flat.
4. Serge the bottom edge of the FRONT and BACK PANELS. Place the TRIM STRIP onto the SEAM ALLOWANCE, aligning its top edge with the finished hemline of the FRONT and BACK PANELS, and topstitch the LACE TRIM.
5. Serge the side edges of the skirt. Stitch the side seams of the skirt and press open.
6. Serge the top and side edges of the FLOUNCES. Place the serged edges of the FLOUNCES under the LACE TRIM and topstitch.
7. Stitch the side edges of the FACINGS and press the seams open. Serge the outer edge of the FACINGS.
8. Insert the ZIPPER. Face the top edge of the FRONT and BACK SKIRT HALVES with the FACING. Topstitch the FACING allowance to the FACING at a distance of 0.2 cm from the seaming line. Turn under the side edges of the FACING and hand stitch.
9. Serge the bottom edge of the FLOUNCES and topstitch.
