- 5. Center FRONT PANEL – QTY 2
- 6. Under COLLAR – QTY 1
- 7. Upper COLLAR – QTY 1
- 8. Front FACING – QTY 2
- 9. FLOUNCE – QTY 2
- 10. Upper SLEEVE – QTY 2
- 11. Lower SLEEVE – QTY 2
- FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: Front FACING, back neckline FACING, under COLLAR.
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to: Front FACING, back neckline FACING, under COLLAR.
- Place upper COLLAR and under COLLAR right sides together and stitch the under COLLAR to the upper COLLAR. Trim, turn out COLLAR corners.
- Stitch and serge darts on the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL. Press FRONT PANEL darts towards the center FRONT PANEL, and BACK PANEL darts towards the center BACK PANEL.
- Serge the outer edge of the Front FACING and back neckline FACING.
- Place the Front FACING on the right side of the FRONT PANEL, right side down, pin, and stitch along the front edge line. Stitching is done from the FRONT PANEL side up to the NOTCH, which defines the end of the COLLAR insertion. Trim the seams of the upper front corners. Topstitch the seam allowance of the front edge: in the fastener area – to the Front FACING, in the lapel area – to the FRONT PANEL. Place the stitching 0.2 cm from the seam. Turn the front edges to the right side, straighten the seams.
- Stitch and serge the center back seam, press the center back seam open.
- Stitch and serge the shoulder and side seams. Press shoulder and side seams towards the BACK PANEL.
- Stitch and press open the shoulder edges of the FACING and Front FACING.
- Serge and stitch the elbow seam of the SLEEVE. Press open the elbow seam of the SLEEVE.
- Stitch and serge the front seam of the SLEEVE. Press the front seam of the SLEEVE towards the front half of the SLEEVE. Press the SLEEVE hem.
- Set the SLEEVES into the armholes according to the NOTCHES and serge the SLEEVE insertion seam.
- Set the COLLAR into the jacket neckline.
- Stitch and serge the center edge of the FLOUNCE. Press the stitching seam towards the right part of the FLOUNCE. Attach the FLOUNCE to the lower edge of the jacket and serge the attachment seam. Turn under the lower edge of the Front FACING and attach it to the FLOUNCE attachment seam.
- On the right FRONT PANEL, serge a buttonhole, and on the left FRONT PANEL, sew a button.
