CUTTER'S MUST
- From main fabric:
- FRONT SKIRT HALF - 1 QTY
- BACK SKIRT HALF - 1 QTY
- Waistband – 1 QTY
- From contrast fabric:
- Lower skirt part – 2 QTY
- FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: reinforce waistband with interfacing.
Sewing Instructions
- Reinforce the waistband with FUSIBLE INTERFACING (Iron-on interfacings are pressed onto the wrong side of the piece with a hot iron). Stitch darts on the FRONT SKIRT HALF and BACK SKIRT HALF, press them towards the center.
- Attach the lower skirt parts to the FRONT SKIRT HALF and BACK SKIRT HALF. Overcast and press the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Sew the side seams. Insert the ZIPPER into the left side seam so that the teeth are not visible.
- Fold the waistband in half lengthwise and neatly stitch the ends and the extension for the closure. Attach the outer half of the waistband to the upper edge of the skirt, fold under the inner half and sew it over the attachment seam. Make a buttonhole.
- Overcast and topstitch the hem of the skirt.
