  • 1 button

CUTTER'S MUST

  • From main fabric:
  • 1. Front Panel - 2 QTY
  • 2. Back Panel - 2 QTY
  • 3. Back Facing – 1 QTY on fold
  • 4. Front Facing – 2 QTY
  • 5. Fly Shield – 1 QTY
  • FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: back facing, front facing, fly shield.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Reinforce facings and fly shield with fusible interfacing (thermo-adhesive interfacings are pressed onto the wrong side of the piece with a hot iron).
  2. Stitch darts, press dart depths towards the center.
  3. Sew side and inseam seams. Overcast seam allowances and press open.
  4. Stitch the front center seam from the fastener mark downwards and, without breaking the stitch, sew the back center seam.
  5. Zipper closure: press the one-piece facings of the closure to the wrong side: on the right - along the center front line, on the left - stepping back 1 cm from the center front line (= seam allowance for the closure). Stitch the zipper under the edge of the seam allowance for the closure (left side) to the edge, positioning the teeth close to the fold. Pin the opening, aligning the center front lines. Stitch the free tape of the zipper to the one-piece facing of the right side of the closure, without catching the fabric of the front pant leg. Topstitch the right front pant leg along the closure according to the markings, catching the facing. Finish the fly shield along the short sides, turn out and press. Stitch the fly shield to the left pant leg under the closure.
  6. Stitch the front and back facings at the side edges. Press seam allowances open. Overcast the bottom edge. Fold the facings with the upper edge of the pants right sides together and stitch. Turn to the right side, secure the short sides and topstitch the upper edge at 1 mm.
  7. Press the hem allowance of the pant bottom inwards, turn under the raw edges and topstitch.
  8. On the right side of the front panel, overcast a buttonhole, on the left - sew on a button.
