Side Stripe Straight Leg Trousers

CUTTER'S MUST

• Stripe – 2 QTY
• FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
• BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
• Front FACING – 1 QTY
• Back FACING – 2 QTY

FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: front FACING, back FACING.

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse the front and back FACINGS with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
2. Stitch the darts on the front and back pant halves and press them towards the center of each half.
3. Attach the stripe to the side edge of the FRONT PANEL. Overlock the stripe attachment seam and press it towards the FRONT PANEL. Stitch the side edge of the stripe and the side edge of the BACK PANEL. Overlock the side seam of the stripe and the BACK PANEL. Press the side seam towards the BACK PANEL. Overlock the bottom of the pants. Overlock, stitch, and press open the inseams. Overlock the front and center edges. Stitch the front edge and center edge up to the NOTCH for the ZIPPER on the BACK PANEL. Stitch a second line along the seat seam next to the stitching line of the front and center seam.
4. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES for the ZIPPER along the edges to the wrong side. Place the ZIPPER under the opening so that the teeth are not visible, and stitch it.
5. Stitch the side edges of the front and back FACINGS. Overlock the bottom edge of the FACINGS. Place the stitched FACINGS face to face with the pants and finish the upper edges of the pants. Topstitch the seams onto the FACING at a distance of 0.2 cm from the finishing seam. Fold the SEAM ALLOWANCES of the center edges of the FACINGS and hand stitch them.
6. Press the hem allowance to the wrong side and stitch it.
