Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse the facing with fusible interfacing; it is advisable to also fuse the upper of the back, the bottom of the sleeve, and the bottom of the front and back.
  2. Stitch the lining seams.
  3. Attach the lining front PANELs to the FACINGs.
  4. Stitch the darts on the front.
  5. Stitch the front relief seams.
  6. Attach the zipper to the front PANELs.
  7. Stitch the back relief seams.
  8. Stitch the shoulder seams.
  9. Stitch the side seams.
  10. Finish the edges with FACINGs. Finish the back neckline with lining.
  11. Stitch the sleeve seams.
  12. Set in the SLEEVEs, easing the cap.
  13. Attach the lining to the jacket hem allowance. Attach the sleeve lining to the sleeve hem. Hand-tack under the armhole and at the jacket hem. Turn the lining and jacket right side out. Close the technological opening in the sleeve.
  14. Topstitch the hem of the garment and the sleeve hem along the edge.
