Sewing Instructions
- Fuse the facing with fusible interfacing; it is advisable to also fuse the upper of the back, the bottom of the sleeve, and the bottom of the front and back.
- Stitch the lining seams.
- Attach the lining front PANELs to the FACINGs.
- Stitch the darts on the front.
- Stitch the front relief seams.
- Attach the zipper to the front PANELs.
- Stitch the back relief seams.
- Stitch the shoulder seams.
- Stitch the side seams.
- Finish the edges with FACINGs. Finish the back neckline with lining.
- Stitch the sleeve seams.
- Set in the SLEEVEs, easing the cap.
- Attach the lining to the jacket hem allowance. Attach the sleeve lining to the sleeve hem. Hand-tack under the armhole and at the jacket hem. Turn the lining and jacket right side out. Close the technological opening in the sleeve.
- Topstitch the hem of the garment and the sleeve hem along the edge.
