CUTTER'S MUST

  • From main fabric:
  • 1. FRONT PANEL - 2 QTY
  • 2. BACK PANEL - 1 QTY
  • 3. FACING - 2 QTY
  • 4. SLEEVE - 2 QTY
  • 5. CUFF - 2 QTY
  • 6. COLLAR – 2 QTY
  • 7. COLLAR STAND – 2 QTY
  • FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: FACING, upper COLLAR, CUFF, COLLAR STAND.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the FACING, upper COLLAR, CUFF, and upper COLLAR STAND.
  2. Stitch the waist darts on the BACK PANEL.
  3. Overlock the inner edge of the FACING. Stitch the FRONT PANEL with the FACINGS up to the NOTCHES, turn the FACINGS to the wrong side and press.
  4. Gather along the center seam of the FRONT PANEL and stitch it.
  5. Stitch the shoulder seams.
  6. Stitch the side seams.
  7. Stitch the lower COLLAR to the upper COLLAR, then turn it right side out.
  8. Stitch the COLLAR STANDS, inserting the COLLAR between them.
  9. Attach the lower COLLAR STAND to the neckline. Turn under the raw edge of the upper COLLAR STAND and topstitch it into the seam of the lower COLLAR STAND. Topstitch along the COLLAR. Secure the FACINGS to the shoulder seams with a 1 cm bar tack. Topstitch the edge of the front opening.
  10. Stitch the SLEEVE seams.
  11. Set in the SLEEVES, easing the cap.
  12. Fold the CUFFS right sides together, stitch the short sides into a loop. At the slit, cut the SEAM ALLOWANCE, leaving a slit in the middle of the seam. Fold the CUFFS in half right sides together, stitch the edges of the slit.
  13. Attach the CUFFS to the bottom of the SLEEVE and overlock the upper edge of the CUFF together with the SLEEVE.
  14. Topstitch the CUFF attachment seam onto the SLEEVE, topstitch along the bottom of the CUFF and the edge of the slits.
  15. Hem and topstitch the bottom of the garment.
