CUTTER'S MUST
- From main fabric:
- 1. Center FRONT PANEL - 2 QTY
- 2. Side FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
- 3. Center BACK PANEL - 1 QTY
- 4. Side BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
- 5. Front FACING - 2 QTY
- 6. Back neckline FACING – 1 QTY
- 7. SLEEVE - 2 QTY
- FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: Front FACING, back neckline FACING.
TIP: To keep the material stretchy in the areas of finished seams, stitch the cut pieces with a narrow zigzag or special stretchy stitch. To keep the bottom edge stretchy, the hem should be overlocked with an overlock stitch, and then stitched using a twin needle. The same applies to finishing other edges of the garment that should not lose elasticity. These recommendations do not apply to industrial production.
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse the front FACING and back neckline FACING with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
- Stitch the FRONT PANEL darts.
- Stitch the BACK PANEL darts.
- Stitch the back neckline FACING to the front FACINGS.
- Overlock the outer edge of the front FACING with the back neckline FACING.
- Stitch the shoulder SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Stitch the side SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Face the front edges and back neckline with the front FACINGS and back neckline FACING, turn the front FACINGS to the wrong side. Baste and press the edges. Secure the front FACINGS to the shoulder SEAM ALLOWANCES with a 1 cm tack.
- Stitch the SLEEVE SEAM ALLOWANCES up to the NOTCH, leaving the vent open at the bottom. Press the SLEEVE hem allowance to the right side. Stitch the vent edges. Press the hem to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Set in the SLEEVES, easing the cap.
- Turn the garment hem allowances to the wrong side and topstitch along the edge.
- Punch eyelets for the cord.
