Additional Supplies
- Elastic tape, 3 mm wide
- 3 small snap fasteners
Cutter's Must
- From main fabric:
- Back - 1 piece on fold
- Upper front - 1 piece on fold
- Lower front - 1 piece on fold
- From lace:
- Flounce – 2 pieces
- Middle front - 1 piece on fold
Sewing Instructions
- Stitch the front pieces together.
- Stitch the side and shoulder seams.
- Press the one-piece facings of the closure in the lower crotch seam to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Attach the flounces to the armholes. Overlock the seam allowances of the neckline, armholes, and leg openings, turn to the wrong side, and topstitch. Fold the elastic trim strip with the leg opening and, stretching slightly, attach with a zigzag stitch.
- Sew on the snap fasteners for the closure.
