CUTTER'S MUST

  • 2. Center BACK PANEL - QTY 2
  • 3. Side BACK PANEL - QTY 2
  • 4. Side FRONT PANEL - QTY 2
  • 5. Center FRONT PANEL - QTY 1 on fold
  • 6. FRONT FACING - QTY 1 on fold
  • 7. BACK FACING - QTY 2
  • From FUSIBLE INTERFACING: fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the neck FACINGS of the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the neck FACINGS of the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL. (Heat-activated interfacings are pressed onto the wrong side of the fabric with a hot iron)
  2. Stitch the princess seams on the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL. On the FRONT PANEL, clip the corner when stitching. Stitch the side and shoulder seams.
  3. Stitch the BACK SKIRT HALF to the FRONT SKIRT HALF. Gather the upper edge of the skirt and attach it to the BODICE, right sides together.
  4. Stitch the center back seam from the ZIPPER mark to the hem. Finish and press open the SEAM ALLOWANCES, press the edges of the ZIPPER opening. Place the ZIPPER under the opening so that the teeth are not visible and stitch in place.
  5. Stitch the shoulder and side seams of the FACINGS. Place the FACINGS onto the main garment, right sides together, and stitch along the neckline and armhole edges. Turn the FACINGS out through the shoulder tunnel, fold back, and topstitch them onto the SEAM ALLOWANCES 1-2 mm from the seam line. Near the closure, fold under the free ends of the FACINGS and sew them to the TRIM STRIP. Also secure the FACINGS under the armholes.
  6. Finish the hem of the dress with a 1 cm wide hem.
