  • Lightweight fabrics from natural or blended fibers

Additional Supplies

CUTTER'S MUST

  • From main fabric:
  • FRONT PANEL - 1 QTY
  • BACK PANEL - 1 QTY on fold
  • Waistband - 1 QTY

Sewing Instructions

  1. Stitch darts on the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANELs, press dart excess towards the center front and back.
  2. Stitch pleats on the FRONT PANEL from the wrong side up to the mark. Fold and press pleats towards the side seam, do not press pleats below the marks. Baste pleats along the upper edge.
  3. Stitch side seams, leaving an unstitched section for the ZIPPER in the left side seam. Insert the ZIPPER.
  4. Press the waistband lengthwise in half, right side out. Lay the waistband flat again and press one of the long edges towards the fold. Press the second long edge, stopping 2 mm short of the fold. Fold the waistband along the pressed fold and insert the upper edge of the skirt into it, with the wider part of the waistband lying on the wrong side. Fold the waistband edges at the ZIPPER inwards and topstitch the waistband from the right side along the edge.
  5. Press the hem allowance to the wrong side, fold the raw edge inwards, and topstitch.
