CUTTER'S MUST

  • From main fabric:
    1. FRONT PANEL, cut-on with FACING - 2 QTY
    2. BACK PANEL - 1 QTY on fold
    3. SLEEVE - 2 QTY
    4. COLLAR - 2 QTY on fold
    5. CUFF – 2 QTY on fold
  • From FUSIBLE INTERFACING: cut-on FACING, upper COLLAR, CUFFS.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse the cut-on FACING, upper COLLAR, and CUFFS with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
  2. Stitch shoulder and side seams up to the NOTCH, serge, and press open.
  3. Fold COLLARS right sides together and stitch along the outer edge. Turn the COLLAR right side out, baste, and press.
  4. Serge the outer edge of the FACING, turn it to the right side, and stitch along the neckline from the edge of the garment front to the COLLAR NOTCH. Clip the neckline and FACING seam near the NOTCH, stopping 1mm before the stitching line. Turn the FACING to the wrong side and press.
  5. Fold the lower COLLAR with the blouse right sides together, stitch the COLLAR with a 1 cm seam. Fold under the lower edge of the upper COLLAR and topstitch into the attaching seam.
  6. Stitch SLEEVE seams, serge. Set SLEEVES into armholes.
  7. Fold CUFFS in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch along the edges. Turn CUFFS right side out, press.
  8. Fold the open edges of the CUFFS inwards by 1 cm, insert the lower edge of the SLEEVE between the CUFF pieces and topstitch.
  9. Serge the hem allowance of the garment, turn to the wrong side, and topstitch. Also topstitch the slits in the side seams.
  10. On the right FRONT PANEL, serge buttonholes; on the left, sew on buttons.
