Sewing Instructions
- Fuse the integrated FACING with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
- Stitch the center back seam and the BACK PANEL darts. Overlock the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Press the center back seam to the left, and the darts towards the center.
- Stitch the FRONT PANEL dart seams, overlock, and press towards the center.
- Stitch the side seams, overlock, and press towards the front.
- Press the hem allowance to the wrong side, fold the edge, and topstitch with a 1 cm seam.
- Overlock the edges of the FACINGS and the straight edges of the strap FACINGS. Fold the FACING to the right side and pin. Place the strap FACINGS face to face with the straps and pin.
- Stitch the BIAS BINDING pieces for finishing the upper edge. Press all BIAS BINDING pieces in half lengthwise, right side out. Place the BINDING on the right side of the garment along the corresponding edges so that the ends of the BINDING extend onto the FACING and strap FACINGS. Stitch the FACINGS, integrated FACING, and BINDING. Trim the SEAM ALLOWANCES, clip the seams at curves, and trim the strap corner close to the seam diagonally.
- Turn out the straps, FACINGS, and BINDING to the wrong side. Baste the edges and press. Topstitch along the edge of the opening, neckline, ties, and upper back edge at foot width.
- On each strap, create a pleat on the right side, pin, and stitch along the fold.
- On the right FRONT PANEL, overlock the buttonholes; on the left, sew on the buttons.
