CUTTER'S MUST
- From main fabric:
- FRONT PANEL - QTY 2
- BACK PANEL - QTY 2
- Back FACING – QTY 1 on fold
- Front FACING – QTY 2
- From FUSIBLE INTERFACING: back FACING, front FACING.
Sewing Instructions
- Reinforce FACINGS with fusible interfacing (Heat-adhesive interfacings are pressed onto the wrong side of the piece with a hot iron).
- Stitch darts, press dart allowances towards the center.
- Sew side and inseam seams. Overcast SEAM ALLOWANCES and press open.
- Stitch the center front seam from the fastener mark downwards and, without breaking the stitch, sew the center back seam.
- ZIPPER fastener. Press the one-piece FACINGS of the fastener to the wrong side: on the right - along the center front line, on the left - 1 cm from the center front line (= allowance for the fastener).
- Stitch the ZIPPER under the edge of the fastener allowance (left side) to the edge, positioning the teeth close to the fold.
- Pin the slit, aligning the center front lines.
- Stitch the free tape of the ZIPPER to the FACING of the right side of the fastener, without catching the fabric of the front pant leg.
- Topstitch the right front pant leg along the fastener according to the marking, catching the FACING.
- Stitch the front and back FACINGS at the side edges. Press allowances open. Overcast the bottom edge.
- Place FACINGS with the upper edge of the pants right sides together and stitch. Turn right side out, secure the short sides and topstitch the upper edge at 1 mm.
- Press the pant hem allowance inwards, turn under the raw edges and topstitch.
- On the right side of the front panel, overcast a buttonhole, on the left - sew on a button.
