CUTTER'S MUST
- From main fabric:
- FRONT PANEL, cut as one with lower COLLAR - 2 QTY
- BACK PANEL - 2 QTY
- FACING, cut as one with upper COLLAR - 2 QTY
- Front part of SLEEVE - 2 QTY
- Back part of SLEEVE - 2 QTY
- From FUSIBLE INTERFACING: FACING, cut as one with upper COLLAR.
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse the FACING, cut as one with the upper COLLAR, with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
- Stitch darts on the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL, stitch the center back seam.
- Stitch shoulder seams, make NOTCHES at the corners near the beginning of the COLLAR.
- With FRONT PANELS right sides together, stitch the COLLAR edge.
- Set the COLLAR into the neckline between the corners.
- Stitch the center edge of the COLLAR on the FACING. Finish the inner edge of each FACING up to the shoulder seam. Face the FRONT PANEL with the FACING.
- Clip the SEAM ALLOWANCE of each FACING at the corner up to the seam line. Turn the COLLAR right side out, turn the FACINGS to the wrong side. Baste the edges and press. Turn under the open edge of the upper COLLAR and topstitch into the seam of the lower COLLAR attachment. Secure the FACINGS at the shoulder seams.
- Stitch side seams.
- On the SLEEVES, stitch the front and elbow seams.
- Set in the SLEEVES, easing the cap.
- Turn under the SEAM ALLOWANCES for the hem of the garment and SLEEVE hem to the wrong side and topstitch along the edge.
- On the right FRONT PANEL, overcast buttonholes, on the left, sew on buttons.
