- 2 BACK PANEL - 2 QTY
- 3 waistband - 1 QTY
- 4 front pocket - 2 QTY
- 5 front pocket flap - 4 QTY
FUSIBLE INTERFACING: waistband, inner parts of pocket flaps.
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the waistband pieces and the inner parts of the pocket flaps.
- Stitch the FRONT PANELS to the BACK PANELS along the side SEAM ALLOWANCES. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES open.
- Press the pocket SEAM ALLOWANCES inwards, place it on the pant halves according to the markings, and topstitch. Stitch the flap along the side and bottom edges. Turn out, press, and topstitch close to the edge. Place the flap on the pant halves and attach. Turn so that the flap lies with the inner side on the right side of the pants. Press, topstitch at a distance of 0.7 from the edge.
- Stitch the inseams. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Place both halves face to face. Stitch the front and back center seams twice. Press the center SEAM ALLOWANCES open up to the curves.
- Stitch the ends of the waistband together, right sides facing. Stitch the longitudinal edge of the waistband to the upper edge of the shorts, right sides facing. Press the waistband upwards, fold half the width to the wrong side, turn under, and baste to the attachment seam. From the right side, topstitch the attachment seam close to the edge up to the markings in the center front of the waistband. Stitch through the middle of the waistband up to the markings in the center front of the waistband. Cut the elastic TRIM STRIP into 2 equal parts and thread it through the casings. Pin the ends of the elastic TRIM STRIP to the markings in the center front of the waistband. Topstitch the center front of the waistband all around close to the edge and at a width of 0.75 cm, catching the ends of the elastic TRIM STRIP.
- Press the hem SEAM ALLOWANCES to the wrong side, baste. From the right side, stitch at a distance of 3 cm and 3.5 cm.
