Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse the belt pieces with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
  2. Stitch darts. Press their depths towards the center edges. Stitch the back belt parts to the front ones.
  3. Place front panels right sides together, under the slit mark, stitch the front center seam, stopping approx. 2 cm before the inseam line.
  4. ZIPPER CLOSURE: Press the integrated zipper FACINGS to the wrong side. Stitch the ZIPPER under the edge of the SEAM ALLOWANCE for the closure (left side) along the edge. Stitch the free tape of the ZIPPER to the right panel, to the integrated FACING. Fold the FLY FACING in half lengthwise, stitch the upper and lower short edges. Topstitch the integrated zipper FACING onto the FLY FACING on the left pant leg. Topstitch the right edge of the slit, catching the FACING.
  5. Place one front and one back panel right sides together. Stitch the side seams and inseams. Press seam allowances open.
  6. Stitch one of the longitudinal edges of the belt pieces to the upper edge of the pants, right sides together, leaving the SEAM ALLOWANCE for the closure protruding at the left edge of the slit. Place both pant legs right sides together, one inside the other. Stitch the center seam up to the belt edge. Press the center seam allowances open up to the curve. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES of the belt attachment seams towards the belt. Fold the belt right side in, in half widthwise, stitch the front ends. Turn the belt out, topstitch from the right side exactly in the attachment seam.
  7. Press the pant hem allowance to the inside, fold the raw edges and stitch along the edge. Fold the CUFF along the marking and attach to the side and inseams.
  8. On the right end of the belt, make a buttonhole. Sew a button to the left end.
