CUTTER'S MUST
- From main fabric:
- 1. Waistband - 1 QTY
- 2. BACK SKIRT HALF - 2 QTY
- 3. Center FRONT SKIRT HALF - 1 QTY
- 4. Side FRONT SKIRT HALF - 2 QTY
- 5. Belt loop - 1 QTY
- From FUSIBLE INTERFACING: interface the waistband piece with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
Sewing Instructions
- Stitch darts on the BACK SKIRT HALVES, press them towards the center.
- Stitch the back center seam between the ZIPPER and slit NOTCHES, stitch the side seams. Insert the ZIPPER.
- Press the slit SEAM ALLOWANCES to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Place the waistband right sides together with the upper edge of the skirt and stitch, leaving an extension for the closure on the right back edge of the waistband. Finish the ends of the waistband with a FACING. Turn under the inner edges of the waistband and topstitch from the right side into the attachment seam. Make a buttonhole on the left end of the waistband, sew a button on the right.
- Turn under the SEAM ALLOWANCES of the long sides of the belt loop piece and topstitch the belt loop along the long sides. Cut the piece into sections. Fold and topstitch the belt loops onto the waistband.
- Press the hem SEAM ALLOWANCE to the wrong side, fold and topstitch.
